1. Project Scope
The Website Starter Kit covers the design and build of a Squarespace website of up to five pages, as outlined in your project proposal. Any additional features or pages requested will be quoted separately.
2. Pricing & Payment
The Website Starter Kit is priced according to the agreed-upon specification. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the balance due upon completion and prior to the website going live.
3. Hosting & Domains
Please note that prices do not include Squarespace's monthly hosting costs or URL domain name costs.
Hosting and domain registration are payable directly to Squarespace by the client.
4. Content Supply
The client must supply all text, images, and other assets in digital format prior to the design phase commencing. Planet can provide content creation or image sourcing as an additional service if required.
5. Project Timelines
Typical turnaround time is 4–6 weeks from receipt of all content and materials. Delays in supplying content may extend the timeline.
6. Revisions
The package includes two rounds of design revisions per page layout. Further revisions will be charged at Planet’s standard hourly rate.
7. Ownership & Access
Once the final invoice has been paid, ownership of the website design passes to the client. The website will be built on the client’s Squarespace account to ensure full control and access.
8. Ongoing Support
Two weeks of post-launch technical support are included. Extended maintenance or update packages are available by separate agreement.
9. Cancellations
If the project is cancelled after work has begun, the client will be invoiced for work completed to date. Deposits are non-refundable once design work has started.
10. Liability
Planet takes every care to ensure quality and accuracy. However, we are not responsible for any downtime, errors, or losses that may arise from third-party platforms, such as Squarespace.
