Meeting

We'll meet with you to learn more about your business and the products/services you offer. We'll explore your requirements for a printed document and gain a full brief by exploring things such as the type of format you would like (e.g A4, A5 or bespoke), how the document will be used, and the type of content it needs to include. The more detail we can get at this stage the better, and if you've seen something that you like, show us. We'll also bring along paper samples and printed pieces we have done in the past to provide inspiration.

Initial concepts

Following our initial meeting, our design team will take the ideas and thoughts we generated and create conceptual designs for you. These will usually be presented back to you in the form of a cover and a double page spread for each concept, giving you the opportunity to explore different options and how they might work.

Artwork

Once a creative direction has been chosen, the studio will get to work setting out the entire document in the agreed style. Copy will be flowed in, images will be picked and placed. This is where the whole document really comes to life.

Amends

We understand that seeing things in situ can change opinions, or things might change internally which effect the document we are working on. So, at Planet, our policy is to always allow for amends. Once you have sent us your feedback, we will refine each page as required. After this, a final revision will be sent for your approval.

We have extensive knowledge in specifying print requirements, can recommend the ideal methods (litho or digital), and pick the papers and finishes that will make your literature really sing. We work with our long standing trusted print partners so you can sit back and relax, knowing that we have it all covered.
