What is in1place?
In One Place is a dymanic website template created to assist local communities, shopping centres or towns in creating a community website to promote themselves cost effectively. The In One Place template is available with a Content Management System so that the user can manage content through a user friendly interface, Planet also offer one-to-one training. The website can be tailored creating a bespoke look.
Case Study One
Planet were approached by a group of independant retailers in the UK who all had a particular type of shop and wanted people to find them easily. They all wished to be part of a larger community website that would have excellent optimisation, and a strong presence on the internet. Each had their own smaller portfolio websites but were struggling to compete against larger organizations for positioning on major search engines. The result was a large community website taken from the In One Place template which linked back to each retailers portfolio site, helping with both traffic and optimisation.

A small market town in Wiltshire wanted to promote independent retailers, events and local businesses. Bringing all of the dynamic elements that the town required from In One Place, we worked with them to create a bespoke look to the template.
In addition to the standard template, the community requested Trade & Save - an online facility for local people to trade unwanted items.
