Lollypop Cleaning Services Ltd started back in 2004, after the formation of a Window Cleaning company called GWC “Garrison Window Cleaners”. Through hard work and a can do attitude, GWC grew in size and reputation, later becoming GWC Cleaning & Maintenance.
GWC knew that there was a place in the market for a Cleaning Company that changed the way in which Cleaning Services are delivered to commercial customers. This is where “Lollypop Cleaning Services Ltd” came in.
Over the past year, Lollypop Cleaning Services LTD have looked at all areas of the cleaning industry and what could be changed. Taking all of their experiences to put together a unique cleaning service.
It was important to Lollypop, that like their ethos, the brand was unique, fun yet professional. Planet set to devise an identity that was all of these things. Through a holistic approach it was decided that a classic sweet shop touch should be added to the identity, emphasising history, fun and approachability.
Lollypop had a limited start up budget which had to be strategically placed so that the key elements of the campaign weren't overlooked. Planet advised on these elements so that the campaign was both effective and achievable.
One of the largest investments for a new business is a website. Planet recommended a template website to Lollypop, helping them create a well branded and functional micro-site on a limited budget. Template websites are very versatile, allowing for a design to be visually tailored, whilst avoiding hefty development costs.
In addition to design and build, Planet assisted Lollypop with internet marketing. Although Lollypop had physical history as far as being a partner of GWC, it had no actual internet history. This meant that without help, it could be some time (3-12 months) before search engines found and indexed the Lollypop Cleaning Services website. This meant for the period of 3-12 months, the Lollypop website could potentially remain hard to find for search engine users stumbling across the website when searching under key terms.
To get around this, Planet outlined an online campaign that would speed up the indexing process, whilst also drawing in potential customers. Combing on and off-site SEO, as well as a targeted Pay Per Click campaign, the result was an astounding success, moving the website up the ranks and exposing it to potential customers.
Lollypop Cleaning Services required a small 6 page fold out brochure that could be used as a direct mail campaign for potential local customers. To be accompanied with a jar of lollies, the brochure had to reflect the brand that had been outlined by the stationery and website designs. The result was a concertina fold brochure, combing mono images, and bright colour panels that added contrast.
